riding today and hope to be as long as I can.

I have been riding for 38 years. I actually got hooked on riding in high school 45 years ago when my boyfriend got a Kawasaki. He taught me how to drive his bike. Parents of course had a fit so had to be happy being a passenger for the next few years.

After getting married in 1976 I told my husband I wanted to get a motorcycle, he was fine with it and I've been riding ever since. Through the years I have owned a Honda 90, Honda 360, Yamaha 650 and Yamaha 850 and I currently ride both a 2010 Tri-Glide and 2006 Yamaha V-Star 1100.

I ride to feel free and enjoy the world around me. I joined Women in the Wind the Hoosierettes Chapter because I believe there is more fun and safety in group riding and there is "Girl Power" in a women's riding group.

I took the Abate course to learn how to ride right and I'm still
